Photography Unit Study

Can you reccomend me a photographer to study?

I started media , and a photography unit , bascially have to research a famous or professional photographer and i do not know any to be honest.
Btw i probs wont do any fashion photographers

I had to research a photographer last year in Photojournalism. I did Diane Arbus. She has some weird pictures but they are really cool.
